Akasha II women is the technical and aesthetic re-design of Akasha, the La Sportiva Mountain Running® footwear collection dedicated to endurance competitions, perfect for long-distance routes, Ultramarathons, Ultra-Trails, and for prolonged training use. Comfort is guaranteed by the cushioning, thanks to the Cushion Platform™ footbed insert and generous internal volumes, as well as by the soft, breathable, and enveloping Slip-on construction upper that prevents compression points during running. The active front reinforcements Dynamic ProTechTion™ provide protection and structure, dynamically following the foot's movement without constrictions. The grippy FriXion® Red bi-compound sole features the exclusive Trail Rocker™ solution, designed to promote the natural "external heel - internal toe" movement of the foot while running. Laces and Ortholite® Hybrid footbed are also made from recycled materials. Akasha II: the ultra-runner's code expressed through protection, comfort, and cushioning.
