For better performance, we raised the stack from 33 to 36 mm and reduced the weight of the Altra EGO PRO™ foam midsole by 32%. The new foam is more flexible for increased cushioning and responsiveness. The improved full-length carbon fiber plate increases asymmetry by 14%, for a more natural (and faster) stride. The structure has been redesigned and the outsole re-engineered with more grooves to offer 75% more flexibility.
